The BC SPCA, a leading animal welfare organization, has been working with Relentless to revamp their website and elevate their digital marketing efforts to better connect with animal lovers across British Columbia.

As an organization with a vital mission to protect and care for animals, the BC SPCA needed a modern, user-friendly website that could effectively communicate their work and inspire action. We delivered a visually engaging and highly functional platform, complete with streamlined navigation, enhanced donation tools, and an intuitive pet adoption search feature. The upgraded website allows users to quickly find information, connect with local shelters, and support the BC SPCA’s mission, resulting in increased engagement and donations.

Relentless recently completed the redevelopment of the BC SPCA’s main and adoption websites, helping modernize a platform that had served the organization for nearly a decade. Working closely with the BC SPCA team, we translated the new design into a flexible WordPress site, with reusable content blocks that give staff greater control over creating and maintaining pages.

A major challenge was coordinating a substantial content migration alongside development and launch preparation. The existing website contained thousands of pages, news articles, adoption stories and resources, supported by an extensive media collection. The BC SPCA team also undertook significant content creation, revision and organization. Close collaboration and clear prioritization helped bring these parallel efforts together for the scheduled launch.

The BC SPCA team described the launch and support as “very smooth” and expressed how thrilled they were to meet their launch date. Relentless looks forward to continue supporting the site through ongoing management, refinements and new functionality as the organization’s needs evolve.

Relentless has been working with the BC SPCA since early 2022 and is currently responsible for web development, technical support, and maintenance of their many digital applications.

This is one of our favourite accounts to work on, as it is such a great cause and is so touching. Although heartbreaking at times, we are all animal lovers and we feel very fortunate to be involved in our capacity.
