Time Names Google Glass as One of Their Inventions of the Year
Wearable computing is the next logical shift as we move from desktop to smartphones, tablets and beyond. Google got the jump on other companies by releasing an early version of their Google Glasses which is essentially a computer right on top of your head.

Another Month, Another Google Panda Update
The 21st confirmed Panda update was released this week, affecting search queries in the US. Panda updates keep SEO’s on their toes as they try to stay one step ahead of big G, while Google hopes the changes will keep users happy, as more complaints of low quality results in Google search have gotten louder and louder.

Google: The Most Trusted Name in…Polling?
Nate Silver, who correctly predicted 50 out of 50 states in the last week’s election, released a round up of which polls were most to least accurate. Showing the power of online polls, was Google’s new Consumer Survey which came in second place for accuracy. Old stand-bys in polling data Gallup, came in last place for accuracy, highlighting the techniques that produce the most accurate polls seems to be changing.

Priceline To Buy Travel Search Engine Kayak For $1.8 Billion
Priceline, who also owns Booking.com, priceline.com and others, announced that they are now adding travel search engine Kayak.com to that list.
